At Consulate we do hard, compassionate work for our residents. Yet we struggle to pay our rent and put food on the table. That’s why nursing home workers across Florida are coming together to fight for better wages and a voice at work. 1199SEIU is the most effective union for nursing home workers in Florida and throughout the country. In hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, and homecare programs, we advocate for the dignity of all workers and of those in our care. For healthcare and homecare workers, respect means providing quality care to our patients — every day. It also means fighting to ensure workers receive fair pay and good benefits. By joining our union, workers at 19 Consulate facilities have negotiated higher wages, job security, and a say in resident care.

Every day, the members of 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East save lives, deliver babies, heal the sick and care for seniors and people with disabilities. We work on the frontlines in hospitals, nursing homes, homecare, clinics, pharmacies and all other areas of the healthcare industry.
